TETRIS GLOSSARY

Also called Kick tests · Kick offsets
An ordered list of alternate positions tested when rotation would collide. The first valid position wins. A shape fitting somewhere nearby does not mean the game will choose that position.

- (−1, 0)If blocked: try one cell left
- (−1, +1)If blocked: left and up
First three SRS tests for J/L/S/T/Z, 0 → R. Positive Y points up. Stop at the first valid position; the full table has two more tests.
