  Clearing down through an existing stack or garbage to reach lower gaps. Look at the gap below your next clear and avoid covering it with blocks that survive the clear.

  Rows added from outside your own placements, usually as an opponent's attack. They commonly contain gaps and raise the stack from below. Training and puzzle modes can also supply garbage directly.
