TETRIS GLOSSARY
Moves
Also called Opener moves
The opener progress count shown beside the board, relative to the route's move limit. It counts placements, not keyboard taps; a piece can require several inputs to place.

Opener →
A planned construction for the beginning of a game, usually on an empty board. Pick one that fits the starting queue and rules, and know how to leave it if incoming garbage disrupts the plan.
KPP →
The number of counted inputs divided by placed pieces. Lower KPP can indicate better movement efficiency, but hold, rotations, tucks and the game's input-counting convention affect comparisons.
